| Ararat & District U3A | Ararat and District U3A has just completed one year of successful operation with a membership of 87 in 2010. Our courses are run from the NMIT campus in Grano Street Ararat. Courses which have proved popular are: water colour painting, computer, family history, wine appreciation, creative writing, geography, history, geology, solo, genealogy. walking group. Special programs included: Renaissance Architecture, an excursion to the Bendigo Art gallery to see the McCubbin exhibition and in 2011 Energy Matters. | Bass Valley U3A | Bass Valley U3A is a member of the U3A South Gippsland Region and covers the widely scattered communities along the Bass Coast, from Lang Lang through to Bass and in the hinterland. We meet at various venues - Grantville, Corinella, Coronet Bay - and offer a variety of courses designed to keep retirees' minds and bodies active - Ancient Civilizations, Music & Imagination, Digital Photography, Current Affairs, Singing for Fun, Meditation, Bush Painting & Landscapes, Tai Ch'i for Arthritis, Pole Walking. | U3A Emerald | Emerald U3A was established in 1992 by 25 retirees. Membership has grown to 170 and we offer 21 classes covering a wide range of subjects from Philosophy and Australian History to Woodwork and Gardening. Our Green Shed activities reach out to other community groups and offer opportunities to learn practical skills. Members are willing to travel considerable distances to their classes, mostly held in Emerald; for example, they come from Warburton, Menzies Creek, Kallista, Monbulk, Cockatoo, Mt Dandenong and Upper Beaconsfield. We aim to provide a friendly, welcoming learning environment with no pressure where people can participate as much or as little as they like. U3A Healesville & District has provided the community with a range of physical, intellectual and artistic pursuits for its 150 members. Our members enjoy a community spirit of shared learning, good company and friendships. This year 2011 we have combined our class list with the 5 other U3A's of the Yarra Ranges Shire to offer members a choice of approx. 100 courses throughout the Yarra Ranges Shire. | Heathcote U3A | Heathcote U3A is now in it’s 3rd year with a membership of approximately 30. Our main venue is the Heathcote Guide Hall. Our regular activities include Armchair Travel, Tai Chi, Horticultural Activities and social Coffee Mornings. We have also conducted courses in Writing, Meditation and Religions of the World and organized outings to other U3A functions and courses. | ||||

| U3A Kerang & District | U3A Kerang & District is now in its third year of operation with current membership at 65. We offer a range of 13 activities; philosophy, art, drama, scrabble, exercises, writing and 10 pin bowling to name a few.
